1793 1C Liberty Cap Large Cent, NGC VG10. S-12, B-21, Low R.6. EAC Grade Good-6.
Attractively blended olive, tan, and steel toning is evident on both sides. This piece has the sharpness of Fine 12 or better, with moderate and evenly distributed corrosion on both sides. The surfaces are free of other distractions, and the strike is bold and well centered. Both sides have full and crisp border beads. This intermediate die state has a reverse bulge affecting CE and the left branch of the wreath. Only about two dozen examples of this variety survive in all grades.
