1888 $3 Indian Princess PCGS MS64 CAC. This specimen displays splendid orange gold surfaces with several pink undertones. A tiny tic on the cheek and a similar tic on the nape of Liberty’s neck render this coin back from the Gem status, and a price tag that would easily be double the ask of this one. The reverse is essentially as struck with a minor break in the luster in the lower left hand field. With an original mintage of only 5,000 coins, this denomination was close to it’s end, as it ceased to be struck in 1889.
