Denarius – Roman Republic c.211B.C. Anonymous NGC XF Ex.Deetz 1946
Anonymous. 211-210 BC. Victoriatus denarius. Mint believed to located in the southeast part of Italy. The obverse features the laureate head of Jupiter right while the reverse shows Victory standing to the right, placing wreath on trophy with a spearhead upright between. ROMA is in exergue. Excellent old cabinet toning, well-centered and a good solid acceptable appearance. NGC assesses the Strike to be a 4/5; the surface is also 4/5. Ex.
